The Owner

My name is Steve Gauthier and I own and operate Classics By Steve. I started this business in 2003 with the mindset to establish a high level of quality service available exclusively for pre smog American classics. I regularly attend car shows throughout California. The Work

I pride myself on the knowledge and technical skills that I have learned over the years. I bring this all with me to work every day. These cars not only deserve a specialist, they deserve a lot of attention to detail. That is where I differ from other shops.

How important is it for you to have that kind of service? We don't just get some paint thrown on the car, drop an engine in it, put some upholstery in it and call it restored. There is much more to restoration than that. I am committed to top-quality workmanship for all my projects.  All repairs are done correctly and professionally.
